Keynote Presentation: Advancing the Use of Team and Evidence Based High Leverage Practices to Improve Student Outcomes
Michael Kennedy, PhD, University of Virginia

Dr. Kennedy is an Associate Professor of Special Education in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia. He is the head of the STORMED Lab (Supporting Teachers through cOaching, obseRvations, and Multimedia to Educate students with Disabilities) where he examines innovative evidence-based interventions and instruction to support student learning and improve outcomes. Prior to completing his PhD, Dr. Kennedy served as a high school special education teacher for six years and an elementary level teacher for three years.

Elizabeth Richardson, MS OTD OTR/L & Sarah-Marie Wood, BS COTA/L, James Madison Univeristy

Dr. Richardson is a pediatric occupational therapist, faculty member in the MOT Program at James Madison University, and director of the on-campus pediatric clinic (OTCES). Sarah-Marie is an occupational therapy assistant and OTCES team member who provides therapeutic services and collaborates to design community-based.

Refunds may be issued if requested in writing more than 18 day prior to conference.
